Why I Fish
The excitement of not knowing what I am going to catch, or how the weather is gonna play, and if the fishing is bad on a particular day, the simple pleasure of exploring new areas with my kayak makes me feel at ease and one with nature.
Favourite Fishing Moment
I remember being towed and battling for 10 minutes for what I thought it was a Kingfish (spoiler: it wasn’t), just to realise it was a huge - honestly - huge (60cm plus) Kahawai, which then started jumping all around next to my boat, is certainly something I won’t forget.
